Where Is He Now?

Amazingly, Allen and his high school girlfriend remained together throughout his rise to fame, got married and have since had their second child already. But sometime in 2013, he got into a horrible car crash that almost stole his musical career away from him. Thankfully he was able to recover and now he is headed back to the American Idol franchise in order to tour with his other Idol counterparts.

Lee DeWyze, Season 9 Winner

Before Lee DeWyze won Season 9 of American Idol in 2010, he already had a career with his then band, the “Lee DeWyze Band,” who even had 2 albums under its belt. In fact, he was quite known already around his parts of Illinois. During his win, he beat out Crystal Bowersox, hoping to finally live his dream of being a full-time singer-songwriter, rather than remain at the paint store salesman job he had been doing in between gigs.
