The Door to Hell

The Door to Hell sounds exactly as it looks. It’s a fiery opening in the ground, but not caused but what you might think. And it doesn’t lead anywhere. It’s a natural gas field found in Derweze, Turkmenistan that was set on fire to prevent the spread of methane gas when it collapsed in 1971. It hasn’t stopped burning since.
