The Beaumont siblings
Australia Day, 1966 the parents of the Beaumont siblings, Jane, 9, Arnna, 7, and Grant, 4, alerted the authorities when all three of their children were unable to return home by 3:30 pm. They were due to be back at 12 from a trip to Glenelg Beach. Glenelg is a popular seaside suburb in Adelaide, South Australia. The town’s sunny beaches provide relief from the urban bustle, and crowds come to relax there during the summer months. It was five minutes away by bus from their home.
