Bruno Richard Hauptmann’s name would go down in history as the infamous kidnapper and killer of the 1-and-a-half year old son of Charles and Ann Lindbergh. The abduction would be called ‘The Crime of the Century,’ even though he would end up getting caught and convicted of the crime. He even proclaimed his innocence up until the day he died.
