Mr. Sketch Markers

For some reason, people were obsessed with things that had smells in them like toys, stickers, heck, even markers. These Mr. Sketch Markers not only had alarmingly strong smells, but the black smelled so much like licorice that it seemed to be a fan favorite. They sure did keep the kids busy for a time, at least, for which many parents were very grateful.

Fanny Packs

Fanny packs from the 80s and 90s are probably one fashion accessory that many wished had never existed. For the most part, they were loud, they were big, and they were incredibly useful, allowing you to keep them attached at the waist and hip, but keep your hands free to do other things. Remarkably, they have made a comeback in recent years, but they have also become much tamer, thank goodness.
