While roller skates were a major thing of the 70s and 80s, rollerblades, while making their appearance sometime in the 80s too, only became incredibly popular later on. People were crazy over them, and managed to use them for fun, for exercise, and for even making their way to the office.

Probably the one toy that basically every single household had, this castle from Fisher Price was enjoyed by boys and girls alike. With it’s drawbridge and movable windows and traps, it was the one toy that every kid asked Santa for, which probably made the toy company an amazing amount of money to boot.
