Don’t Feed The Pigeons
It may seem cruel to some or inconsequential to others, but there is actually a law against feeding the pigeons in Singapore. It’s not because the government wants these birds to starve, but it’s due to the fact that these birds cause havoc, spread disease, bring about pests and basically bother many of the residents. There is even a $500 fine for anyone caught tossing a few breadcrumbs from your left over sandwich to these animals. Quite a large fee for such a small and bothersome bird, if you ask us.
