Don’t Tip Unnecessarily

Tipping may be customary in other countries, but Singapore sets itself apart once more. Normally a 10% service charge is already placed on top of the total bill, which already acts as a tip for the probably amazing service you’ll receive no matter what you may be doing, whether eating in a restaurant or taking a cab. And if it’s the latter, don’t step out of the car too quickly, the driver will be sure to give you back your change.
