Don’t Throw Away Your Receipts

When shopping in Singapore, there’s a 7% GST or tax that’s included in the goods that you buy. If you’re just a visitor, be sure to ask for a Tax Refund in any store you go to, and be sure to keep your receipts. Once you get to the airport you can actually get a refund for it. Awesome, we know!

Don’t Visit Just The Touristy Places

While all the touristy places like the Gardens by the Bay, Orchard Road, the Singapore Zoo and Raffles Hotel are a priority on every traveler’s list, you may want to do the non-touristy things as well. Singapore has some of the most beautiful nature sanctuaries known to man where kayaking, bird watching and outdoor walks are a high priority. Even the local performances are worth watching.
