Don’t Ride An Illegal Taxi
Sadly, China isn’t known to be the safest place to visit. While you don’t need to be completely afraid while walking around on the city streets, you do need to be vigilant with your surroundings. Some places require you to use public transport, but if you don’t know how to use the bus or metro, a taxi is your next best option. Just be certain that the cab you get into is legit or else you’ll find yourself paying way more than you should.
