Don’t Expect Too Much Personal Space
Given that China’s population is a staggering 1.3 billion people, they don’t always have the gift of space. And because of this, Chinese people are quite used to standing incredibly near to each other, where shoving and touching elbows means nothing. So if you happen to be in line somewhere, don’t get annoyed when someone is way up in your face. To them, it’s completely normal, no matter how much you may want your space.
