Don’t Drive In Flip Flops
Although it is not specifically stated in the law, wearing flip flops when you drive can still result to a penalty. If a police officer sees you in them when you’re driving, he might decide that it’s not safe and violates the Spanish law which states that “drivers should always take full control and responsibility for their vehicles” and that “the driver of a vehicle is responsible to ensure their own safety, the safety of other occupants and other road users. For this reason, a good driving position must be ensured.” This is quite confusing and has sparked a lot of debates.
