Beware Of The Broom

It is a tradition and belief in Spain to never bring an old broom and just buy a new one when moving in to a new house. This is because it’s believed that when you take your old broom with you, it will bring with it all the bad luck from your previous house. Apparently, this is also believed in feng shui where it is said that an old broom holds all the dirt and negativity that has been swept by it.
