Given that most drugs are still, highly illegal, you should definitely not attempt to buy any when visiting Costa Rica. Given that cocaine is highly rampant in the country, and so cheap, it is also easy to find on the streets. But what isn’t easy is attempting to get yourself out of jail if you get locked up abroad.
