Incriminating Underwear
According to authorities, a pair of thong panties was collected near Brianna’s body. They found DNA of a man, as well as that belonging to an unknown woman. The female DNA did not belong to Brianna though, but was still considered pivotal in the case. Their thinking? It could have possibly been left by the killer to taunt the police. The authorities requested anyone who might know who it belonged to, to say something in the hopes that it would bring them closer to finding the suspect. But no one came forward with any new evidence.
