Naming A Murderer
The arrest of the 27-year-old Biela was held at the Washoe County Jail. He was taken into custody for the charges of first-degree kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder. Not only was his DNA the incriminating evidence found in Brianna’s case, but it also positively linked him to 2 other cases. The original DNA sample taken from Biela had been taken during an arrest made in 2001 when he threatened the neighbor of an ex-girlfriend with a knife.
