He would only stay with his father for 2 weeks because within that short time, Jeffrey would get arrested for ‘drunk and disorderly conduct.’ His dad decided that maybe if he went to live with his grandmother, he would finally change his ways. And in the beginning, things actually felt like there was an adjustment in Jeffrey’s ways. He actually liked his grandmother, and with her he attended church, he held down a job as a phlebotomist and even did house chores. But his alcoholic ways didn’t change, and he would continue to get inebriated any chance he could get.
