Fueled by love for their beloved Confederacy, it did not take long for Watson, Hunley and McClintock to learn from their previous mistakes and come up with what they thought was the perfect ship. Two long years later they presented the Hunley to Confederate officers with great pride, and she did not disappoint. She hit her target and the boat exploded like they had hoped. The Hunley was sent to Charleston after that.
