Feels like a lost cause

Even after months of searching, questioning and investigating, it had seemed that poor Madeleine had just vanished without a single trace. She not only left behind her beloved Cuddle Cat and comfort blanket, but she also left two parents and twin siblings with broken hearts. And to add insult to already unbearable injury, the media swiveled its unkind head on the grieving parents, claiming that they were at fault for their daughter’s disappearance, and possibly even her death.

Cries for help

When thinking about what had happened that unforgettable night, Kate and Gerry recalled that Madeleine had asked them a question the morning of her disappearance. She was wondering why her mom and dad hadn’t come to her and Sean the night before when they had been crying. There was even another visitor staying in the apartment above the McCann’s who had said she heard a young child crying the night before for approximately one whole hour.
