Attempting To Hurt His Lawyer
Unbelievably, during one of Kevin’s very first hearings in court, he had managed to bring in a razor blade, which he had so artfully hidden within his shackles. Then as soon as his cuffs were removed, he actually attempted to cut his own lawyer’s throat with the blade, being able to hurt him but not enough to cause any major damage. It would seem that Kevin had horrific anger issues, and he was truly a danger to anyone around him, even those trying to help him.
Pleading Guilty
Although Kevin originally put in a ‘non-guilty’ plea, this was rejected by the judge, which forced him to change his plea to ‘guilty.’ It was said that his ‘confession statement was a handwritten note’ with enough information to convict him of his crimes. He was not only found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder, he was also given three life sentences without the possibility of parole.
