Best Friends

13-year old Taylor Paschal-Placker and 11-year old Skyla Whitaker had been best friends for some time. Both girls attended the Graham Public School and belonged to a 5th and 6th grade class, which was actually in a combined classroom, which was why they were so close.

Familiar Routes

Like most days, the two friends could often be seen together and spent many afternoons walking through familiar dirt roads. They both had a fondness for nature, the outdoors, and finding ways to keep themselves busy in the backwoods that they had grown accustomed to.
