Walking Home
t was on June 8, 2008, that the girls happened to be headed back to Skyla’s home after they had a slept over in Taylor’s house the night before. They weren’t done enjoying the day, and they chose to search for some pebbles and seashells by Bad Creek Bridge when the worst possible thing could happen.
They Never Made It Back
As the day wore on, the girls never made it back from Taylor to Skyla’s home. Their families began to worry wondering what could have happened to their girls. The two girls would eventually be found dead in a ditch on North 3890 Road, by Taylor’s very own grandfather, Peter Placker. And worse, they had both been shot to death, dumped on the side of the road like nothing better than a bunch of trash.
