Devils Tower, Wyoming
The Devils Tower is an imposing mountain of igneous rock, which is located in the Bear Lodge Mountains. Standing at 1267 feet, a number of visitors attempt to scale its surface, but not everyone is actually successful. It was declared by President Roosevelt as America’s very first National Monument on September 24, 1906.
