Mendenhall Glacier Caves, Alaska
The Mendenhall Glacier Caves are located in the Mendenhall Valley in Juneau, Alaska. The glacier itself is said to be 12-miles long, with the caves running beneath a portion of them. Getting to the caves can be a bit tricky as you need to kayak then ice climb in order to get to them. But once there, the view is said to be beyond amazing, even ‘otherworldly.’ And from just one photo, it’s easy to see why.
