What Prompted Lexi To Do It?

Not too long after the accident, Angela decided to ask Lexi what made her get out of the car, climb the hill and seek help from passing cars on the highway. What Lexi said astonished many. She said, “I thought, ‘What would Mommy say if she was awake… Mommy would say go get help’.” So that’s exactly what she did.

In Recovery

Angela, who was in recovery from her major injuries, was confined to a wheelchair, but she is slowly getting better. She shares about the accident, “If they would have jostled me a little bit, I might have been completely paralyzed.” She was in the hospital for a total of 19 days before she was able to go home, but despite that, the fact that she and her children are alive is already a miracle in itself.
