Starting a GoFundMe Page

Family and friends decided to start a GoFundMe page to help the young family out while Angela was still in recovery, and while Travis still had to be in a prolonged absence from work. They were able to raise more than $15,000 to help support the family, which definitely helped while the entire family recovered from the horrifying accident.

In Awe Of Lexi

Despite the time that has passed since the accident, both Lexi’s parents are still in awe of the amazing feat she was able to accomplish by saving her family. Angela explains that she believes that she and her husband can credit ‘good parenting’ for Lexi’s heroic deeds. She says, “Teaching her independence and teaching her the difference between bad strangers and good people, good strangers,” that’s what gave her the courage to do what she did.
