During Michelle’s trial, the prosecution would not only present various witnesses, but the dirty, faded blue blanket would be presented to the jury as Deputy First Assistant Christie Bevacqua while saying, “She dumped his body in a creek like a piece of trash, but she left behind a telling clue, this blanket. No other killer could get this.”

Sentenced To 30 Years

Michelle’s trial would take two months to reach the end, but after deliberation, the jury would find her guilty for the murder of her own son 25 years prior. On August 23, little Timmy would finally receive the justice he deserved when the presiding Judge Nieves said, “The reason you were found guilty, Michelle Lodzinksi, is because the jury believed that you lied, you lied, you lied again. You lied, you lied and you lied,” after which she sentenced Michelle to 30 years in prison without possibility of parole.
