Timmy’s family wasn’t the only one desperate to find out what had happened to him. It would seem that the rest of the nation was taken by his story, and they wanted to find him too. To his family’s relief, one of Timmy’s shoes finally showed up around 6 months after he had been reported missing. Daniel O’Malley had been in a secluded area of an industrial park in the Raritan Center in Edison when he came upon one pair of a set of sneakers. It had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles design on it and obviously belonged to a young child. And curiously, Michelle had actually worked somewhere near the industrial park. But while this would leave his bereaved family to believe that he was dead, when the shoe was presented to Michelle, she claimed it wasn’t Timmy’s.
