Memorial is one of the best neighborhoods in Houston as it gives residents that urban feel, yet it is adorned with big trees and yards not typical of an urban area. It has a plethora of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and parks, to cater to the almost 55,000 residents. It is considerably more expensive than most neighborhoods, and most residents own their homes. It is still a magical place, and if you can afford it, a great place to raise a family.
