Charged
For the university shooting, Amy was charged with one count of capital murder and three counts of attempted murder. Authorities recovered documents from her possession, including the ones related to her “tenure battle.” She was sent to the Madison County, Alabama jail without bail and was eligible for either the death penalty or life imprisonment. Roy W. Miller was her court-appointed attorney.
