Josh Brolin

American actor and Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin, who rose to stardom after the hit 1985 movie, The Goonies, has had a string of brushes with the law between the years 2004 and 2008.

Brolin, who played the main antagonist, Thanos in the 2018 Marvel blockbuster hit, The Avengers: Infinity War, was first arrested in 2004 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery after his ex-wife, Diane Lane, called authorities after a dispute with him.

On July 12, 2008, Brolin was once again arrested following an altercation at the Stray Cat Bar in Louisiana, along with 6 other people including actor Jeffrey Wrightland. He was later released upon posting bond. Shrevport prosecutors later dropped the charges.

On New Year’s Day, 2013, he was again arrested, this time for public intoxication in Santa Monica, California which he claims made him realize that he was going on a destructive path and had to change for the better.

Michael Jackson

The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was accused in 1993 of child molestation, following the alleged abuse of a 13-year-old Jordan Chandler. Although he wasn’t tried for that accusation, the singer was formally charged with child molestation in 2003, allegedly for impropriety with 13-year-old Gavin Arvizo, who the pop star befriended. The 2003 trial found Jackson innocent of the accusations but despite the verdict, the pop icon’s reputation had already been permanently smeared. Jackson died in 2009.
