Michael Phelps

American swimmer, Michael Fred Phelps II was 19-years-old at the time he was first arrested for DUI in Salisbury, Maryland in 2004. He was sentenced to serve 18 months’ probation among other penalties following his guilty plea to driving while impaired.

10 years later, in September of 2014, the swimmer found himself in the same situation when he was arrested for driving under the influence and speeding in Baltimore, an incident that almost derailed his comeback as he had just recently come out of retirement earlier in April. He was suspended by the USA team and was banned from all competitions for 6 months following the incident.
Fortunately, he was able to bounce back and ultimately win multiple medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics, making him the most decorated Olympian of all time.

Cardi B

Controversial rapper Cardi B, whose real name is Becaliz Almanzar, was arrested in New York in October of 2018 after appearing at a police station following an altercation she and her group were involved in recently. The former reality star and her crew were wanted for reckless endangerment after they were said to have thrown objects at two bartenders at the Angels Gentleman’s Club in Queens. The August incident left one bartender injured, suffering a cut on her foot.
