Will Smith who gained fame in the television series, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, also has a rap sheet hidden. The two-time Academy Award nominee was arrested in Philadelphia in 1989 after a violent encounter with a man whom he and his bodyguard, Charles Alston, beat up and left with a fractured orbital bone. The 20-year-old Smith was charged with aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy, simple assault and reckless endangerment of another person after the man almost lost his sight in his injured eye.

Golden Globe and Academy award winner Robert Downey Jr., who portrayed the billionaire playboy and gifted inventor Tony Stark in Marvel’s Iron Man and Avengers franchises on screen, was no superhero in real life. Between the years 1996 and 2001, Downey had been arrested, jailed and sent to rehab for numerous infractions which included cocaine, heroin and marijuana possession. The actor has openly admitted that his love affair with drugs had started at a very young age, causing him to spiral out of control. He miraculously turned his life around and is now enjoying new-found fame and has seemed to have left the horrors of his past.
