Life Was Going To Take A Very Unexpected Turn

Many people believe that God works in mysterious ways and what was soon about to happen could be taken as proof of exactly this. It would seem to some as either ‘meant to be’ or ‘completely inconceivable’ that soon after Collins was released from jail, he would find himself working in the very same Faith-based Mosaic café as Jameel McGee. Even though the town they were from was a small one, the odds of them finding jobs in the same place could be considered almost miraculous.

Asking For Forgiveness And Receiving Redemption

McGee admits that he originally wanted to hurt Collins and make him pay for the four lost years that he spent in jail, away from his son. But he also says, “But God was saying so clearly in my head, ‘Let it go’.” All Collins could do was profusely apologize for what he had done to McGee. Collins said, “Honestly, I have no explanation, all I can do is say I’m sorry.” And for McGee, he shares, “That was pretty much what I needed to hear.”
