Andrew Collins was a young cop who had only been serving on the police force for a few years. He explains the situation, “There was an ounce of crack found in the cup holder. It wasn’t on anybody. But the guy in the car said he [McGee] was the driver.” And despite the fact that he didn’t have any other evidence aside from what the other ‘passengers’ of the car said, he arrested McGee and charged him for drug possession.

Sadly for McGee, Collins was headset on putting the blame on McGee. He even said he went as far as doctoring the report to make sure that it would show that McGee was guilty. He explains, “What I did was I creatively articulated the report. I made sure the report sounded good for the way that it needed to sound for a conviction.”
