Gratefully, Red Dog was finally caught by the police after one of his victims was able to escape and inform the police of his assault on her. Upon his death at the young age of 39 via lethal injection, he said, “I’d like to thank my family and friends and attorney Pankowski for supporting me and all other who treated me with kindness.” Then as soon as they injected the death-inducing drugs into his body he said to his wife, “I’m going home, babe.”

Carl Panzram

Carl Panzram was born on June 28, 1892 to very poor German immigrant parents in the United States. At a very young age, he was left to his own devices, and used alcohol from the age of 8 as a way to appease his hunger and despair. After being sent to a training school by his parents for his ‘evil’ ways, he was raped, tortured and beaten in a place that was known as the “The Painting House.” Due to his experiences there, and his horrific upbringing, his life of malevolent crime, rape, sodomy and killing were amongst the other vicious things that he would eventually do.
