Because they were dads themselves
The ordeal was especially emotional for Kister and Wagner because both had kids close to Jennifer and Kourtney’s age. One could only imagine what could have happened to the girls if it had not been for the bravery of both officers on that fateful day.
Seeing the good in things
Despite the “what if’s” of their ordeal, Kourtney chose to see the good in it. She said that what they went through taught her not to take things “super seriously” and to enjoy life more.
