Tony Stewart

Racecar driver Tony Stewart had been in the middle of a race alongside amateur driver Kevin Ward when Ward struck out and stopped his vehicle on the side of the road. But no one would have thought that Ward would proceed to get out of his car and walk onto the racetrack, causing Stewart to hit and kill him in the process. Apparently, Ward was high on marijuana at the time, but many still believed that Stewart possibly hit him on purpose, but he vehemently denied these allegations. Although Ward’s family sued, both parties settled out of court despite the family feeling “forced to settle.”

Vince Neil

Front man of glam rock band Mötley Crüe, Vince Neil, spent many of his days at the height of his career doing much of what other rock stars do, partying, drinking and having a good time. One day back in December 1984, Neil had been drinking all day with drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley, when the two decided to go get more booze despite being quite inebriated and Neil ended up getting into a head on collision with another car, instantly killing Dingly and badly injuring two passengers in the other vehicle. Although he came out unscathed and unpunished aside from the $2.5 million dollar settlement he made, he himself said, “I should have gone to prison.”
