7. Early Cataract Growth
A cataract is a clouding of the eye’s lens that results in blurred vision, making it difficult to function normally. People normally develop cataract as they age, usually reaching maturity in 60 year olds. However, people with diabetes have been found to be twice as likely to develop cataracts as other adults and also tend to have them at an earlier age.
