21. Donuts
Everybody loves donuts but taking a look at how they are made and what they contain would surely make you think twice about getting a box of the stuff. The ring-shaped treat contains over 300 calories and is made up of 42% fat and 54% refined carbohydrates in its uncooked, dough form alone. The frying process adds saturated and trans fats to the pastry, which increase bad cholesterol in our blood. Sugar is then added via the glaze or icing, making the donut one of the unhealthiest foods you can eat for your blood pressure and heart.
