Big Accident

Shannon was driving in a route he was well familiar with. He was on his way to meet a friend for their regular Tuesday walks. As he headed toward Dana Point Harbor, a white semi-truck suddenly pulled in front of him. He had no time to react and pretty soon, he found himself trapped in a scrap of metal that was on fire.

Helpless

All Shannon heard was the sound of breaking glass and crunching metal. Time stood still after the collision and while he was hurt, he was conscious all throughout. He knew that he had to get out. He felt the heat on his legs and feet but the crumpled dashboard kept him from getting out of the vehicle. He was trapped, but luckily, help came before it was too late for him.
