Right Direction

Things were slowly falling into place. Mike and Dee had found the perfect doctor and after seven weeks, Chris was finally released from the hospital. They brought him to Dr. Shannon who gave the baby a clean bill of health. He was ready to go home and be with his family.

Complications Arise

Mike and Dee thought that the worst was over. Until, two weeks later, Chris’ temperature rose. They immediately called Dr. Shannon. He told them that the baby had what he often calls a “pretty good-sized fever.” Nonetheless, he was calm about it. He simply told them to often check on Chris.
