Out of the Woods

Shannon had survived the accident with Chris by his side and by the time he was awake, the paramedic introduced himself. Of course, the doctor never forgot his name. They may have never recognized each other after all the years that passed, but fate made sure that they meet again. This time around, however, they promised to stay in contact. As for Shannon, he knew that this meeting wasn’t just mere coincidence. There was a higher power at play here.

The Men Now

Dr. Shannon and Chris have careers of their own, but after that fateful day, the two men make sure that they meet on the anniversary of the car accident. In fact, they both participated in a fundraiser for childhood cancer. As for Chris, he now has his own family. And as destiny would have it, his son’s pediatrician is no other than Shannon himself. They have chosen to be in each other’s lives, and this time, for good. That’s because they had become each other’s hero.
