Discarding The Weapon

After killing his entire family in cold blood, Nick would go to the woods near his home and throw the gun away thinking that no one would find it. He then walked over to a friend’s house and played video games with them for the rest of the night and even slept there on the pretense that his family would be out of town the next day.

Inviting Friends Over For A Party

Thinking that the story he would come up with of ‘discovering’ his family’s bodies when he got home the next day, he invited his friends over for a party on Saturday. Since his family was supposed to be out of town, he planned the event in order to make it look like he had nothing to do with their deaths. So when the next day came, he went home from his friend’s house at around 5 p.m. to continue with his grand plan of throwing a party, when in fact, he was really headed home to ‘find out’ that his family had been murdered.
