Keeping a park of this magnitude up and running costs a pretty penny, and yet the owners continue to maintain that they want to keep the park open to all. Gordon says, “I realized Morgan was on the of the lucky ones because she had many of the things she needed. I didn’t want cost to be a barrier for others with special needs.” He continues, “We open every year knowing we’re going to lose over $1M and we need to recover that through fundraising and partners.”
