He had begun the Gordon Hartman Foundation in 2005, which was a non-profit organization whose aim was to help those with disabilities. This would eventually be his platform to begin building what he would call the “world’s first ultra-accessible theme park.” He shares, “We wanted a theme park where everyone could do everything, where people with and without special needs could play.” So that’s exactly what he did.
