The Whole Park Was A Risk
Gordon recalls that when they were thinking up of all the plans for the park, they had a lot of concerns about how successful they were going to be, and if they could make it work. He says, “When we opened this, we didn’t know if it was going to work. We knew we were gambling with a $35 million investment. All we wanted to do was bring people who have special needs and people who don’t have special needs together and play.”
