Using The Park For Field Trips
One particular Special Education teacher, Renee Padden, who handles an A.L.E. Class (Applied Learning Environment) at Luna Elementary School in Garland, Texas, shared that she brought her children to the park for one of the field trips. She handles children whose cases vary from Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, Autism and speech impairments, and she claims that their trip to Morgan’s Wonderland ‘has been a life-changing experience for her students and their parents.’
