Adriane’s Best Friend, Lily Prudhomme

Lily Prudhomme was another close friend of the women but was said to be closest to Adriane Insogna. She explains, “It was sort of a fast friendship. We worked together. We saw each other after work. We worked out at the gym together.” Basically, were the best of friends. Lily went on to describe her good friend as funny, outgoing, and tough.

Adriane’s mom, Arlene, said that Adriane really loved the house they were renting. She went on to explain, “She was looking forward to living in that home for a long time. She just felt really at home there.” Lily, Adriane’s good friend, continues to explain just how strong Adriane was as a person, especially since Adriane had survived an almost fatal car accident in her younger years. Lily said, “There were a lot of physical obstacles to overcome and also emotional obstacles: feeling un-pretty. Like she didn’t fit in with her regular life anymore.” But by June of 2004, she finally felt like she was in a good place in her life. Sadly for Adriane, that wasn’t going to last long.
