Calling 911

Lauren was so unhinged by what she saw, she ran back out of the house and called 911. Apparently, from what she could tell, Adriane was still alive but barely. Finally, when the authorities arrived on the scene, both women were said to have both been found dead, not being able to survive the deadly attack.

The Investigation Begins

From the moment the police were on the scene, they quickly fell into their investigation, taking as much evidence as they could find. It was said that they were able to get 266 clues and items in total from the house. The most important piece of evidence was a trace of the killer’s blood on the blinds of the broken kitchen window. They were almost sure that it held the DNA of the person who committed this horrific crime.
